England Rugby League will wear jerseys embroidered with poppies when they take on France in this Sunday’s Autumn International Series final at Salford City Stadium (5.00pm)

For the fourth successive year, the national team will don the special shirts to commemorate Remembrance weekend.

"It's important for the national team to pay their respects this weekend,” said England Coach Steve McNamara. “The Poppy Appeal raises millions of pounds for the families of those who are involved in the armed forces. "Everybody has the utmost respect for the members of those involved in the armed forces, and their families. Sunday is a great opportunity for the players and the fans to pay their respects."

A minute’s silence will also be held prior to kick-off.

Tickets for the final of the 2012 Autumn International Series cost just £12 for adults and £6 for concessions and can be purchased by calling 0844 856 1113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
