I see the erstwhile Mayor of Salford has had a quizzing on TV tonight over the scandalous loan that the council has made to the stadium owners to bail them out of financial difficulties. £600, 000 which he says could not be put back in the coffers to help frontline job cuts and closures because of 'financial rules' regarding it.

Not took long for him to join the Merry band of thieves now has it? If it couldnt be used for the benefit of others then it quite rightly should have been used on a stadium.........our stadium!
