Sort of take your opinion with that but in the case of GK i don't know him very well but i do believe he took the decision early to get out as he seen the club was being run in a way that was haemorrhaging money. So getting involved again i will assume (hopefully) there will be a bit more common sense thinking about our spending

So this is obviously started to move fast a statement has been released about the game on Sunday from the supporters group and it appears Gary Kershaw will be releasing a statement at 12pm which group is he part of?
-
Really worried about the future also hearing rumours that i hope are nonsense about the club having to hit administration before a sale can go through. Just hope this get resolved very quickly if the game is at Dewsbury on Sunday then so be it, i just want us to be able to fulfill the fixture right now.

The facebook post... Good Morning Roughyeds, i have some information for you which might keep you up to date within on going issues behind the scenes and regarding the Takeover and the Game v Batley on Sunday. •The Takeover is virtually complete barring a stumbling block of a certain individual who we all know claiming they are owed money for salary by the club they own (make that make sense) • The game on Sunday is now at risk of a 48-0 loss, fine and a points deduction, because Dewsbury only confirmed their ground if the takeover deal gets done. • Today is basically D-Day for the game and future of the club. Everything has to be signed over today, otherwise one individual will be going down in history as the one who killed Oldham RLFC.

Fixture never took place sadly but we will take the points

So true that, i have typed and deleted many reactionery posts after reading articles and thought better of it. I'm really worried about the future of the club now probably more so at anytime since we went bust in the 90's, this next couple of weeks could be very important lets hope we come out of it smiling

apologies just seen your new post

My god.. no i am not wrong Mr Quinn still has a controlling intrest in the club the paperwork isn't that relevant, once HE agrees to a sale the club can move forward, it's not a criticism of him, MF or anybody else it's just a simple fact. I hope he gets what he wants from the sale and i hope the potential new owners (if they even exist) get the club.
-
Well you clearly havent read my post then, i said he was part of the regime as MF was and the paperwork is paper shuffling it doesnt really indicate a change of ownership, based on all your posts there is clearly one person that has an agenda. Maybe take a deep breath and read it next time.

Don't understand your point Jim Minton has been involved with the roughyeds for the last 3 years that i know of maybe more, i'm not criticising him i am just saying it's paper shuffling at companies house it means nothing the changes that are shown.
-
Not convinced any of this makes any difference he's still controlling the club Jim Minton is still part of Quinn regime, i've stayed quiet on my thought on Mr Quinn but I just hope he decides to do the right thing or i fear this club is finished

Oldham’s plea for support at Boundary Park after cup-tie loss
mahdlo replied to Total Rugby League's topic in Oldham RLFC
Agree with the sentiment of this but again i can't do the Friday night so will only have attended 1 out of the last 3 home games, which means my wife won't be there either, know of at least 3 others that wont be going for the same reason. It's a total myth that crowds are better on a Friday night they need to return to Sunday, build that fan base up (again) and then they can try the experiment of different nights. -
Sadly for this game there is a point i cant be there for that one, but delighted we are back at BP and pray for a long period of stability, far too many dramas with this club if we are ever to be successful long term we need calm cool heads running the club something we sadly havent had for many years.
