#3009496 2015 - season tickets and marketing & matchday ideas

Posted by christheram on 07 October 2014 - 10:41 PM

Any idea what the plans are if any, other than twitter and Facebook?? I believe we should really try market them, especially the junior ones! What about a stall on saturdays in town for kids to sign up to the reward scheme leading up to Christmas??? I honestly believe if we promote these we will get a good demand. I'm willing to help if asked or an appeal goes out!

To be fair it could of gone to a number of coaches... Vievers, rowley, Morrison, or Cooke but out of them I believe Cooke deserves it.

#3004795 Team of the year

Ryan reminds me alittle of a young Danny maguire with his pace and support play. I do agree with what you're saying Southampton leyther.. Aparantly we rejected a bid from you for Thackeray who luckily for us is with us 2 more years yet. With the additions of matty wildie, dalton grant, Toby adamson , Byron smith, and Ryan fieldhouse next season, plus the returning of Steve Nash, arron brown and Wayne Godwin from long term injuries the future looks good at the rams and I'd expect even more of our squad could be challenging for team of year next season.. With keeping all of our current squad, starting a 2nd team and all the off the field developments such as the new housing development and community training faculties been built the rams have a great future! Already looking forward to next year. Be tough competing with fulltime teams from London Leigh and Bradford Aswel as strong fev Sheffield and fax sides but I'm confident we will compete. No match will be easy next year

Ridyard is the one who makes Leigh tick, I'd much rather have thacks than brierley in my best 13.

What happens if we get enough for another coach? Sure if we all chip in we can fund a 4th?

Leigh have opened the southstand for Sunday to rams supporters so all make sure we get in that stand!! 2 60 seater coaches already full too and the club also have a 3rd list of about 20 to 30 names along with people still ringing. The club will decide later wether or not to fund a 3rd coach so if you are wanting to go on the cosches to Leigh I'd ring up ASAP!! It's inly Tuesday morning, not even Thursday yet! From speaking to people on Facebook, plenty who didn't go to fax are going to Leigh. I'd estimate we took around 400 to fax so expect to take 500 to Leigh, that should make for a terrific atmosphere especially as we will all be sat together. The 250 odd rams fans in the standing stand at Halifax were brill Sunday, loud as I've ever heard us so let's make it even better at Leigh!!! UTR

The initial post on this thread has now been updated with departure information and also with the cut-off time in which to book places.

that's if the staff pick up, may aswel not bother with the coaches if people are ringing and getting ignored

I think the problem Cumbrian clubs may have is there isn't the same large talent pool around that area as Yorkshire Lancashire, I may be wrong though???.. Good talent yes but not as much?? Dual reg needs to be back to traditional loan agreements IMO though, wether it be a season or month to month.
