Women's Challenge Cup and Shield Finals Day - Sunday 3 August

28 July 2014 - 12:39 PM

On Sunday the club will be hosting 2 women's cup finals.

These being:

2PM - The Shield Final - Stanningley V Featherstone Rovers

4PM - Challenge Cup Final - Bradford Thunderbirds V Thatto Heath

“The Women’s Challenge Cup and Shield Finals Day has grown steadily as an event and is now a real highlight in the Community Game calendar,” said James Shuttleworth, RFL Club & Competition Manager.

“This year’s event promises to be another great day and following on from the RFL Associations Cup, is certainly keeping the profile of Women’s Rugby League as high as it has ever been.”

Entry for Adults is £4.

So, if you aren't going to support the Rams at Halifax, come down to the club to support the women's game.

Dewsbury 12 Sheffield 28 - Predictions, discussion, highlights

10 June 2014 - 01:22 PM

A lot of talk on the forum lately has been about when fixtures should be played and about the decision around the Swinton fixture.

Lets get back to talking about the here and now and the massive game we have on Sunday against Sheffield.

We all know we always seem to lose against Sheffield and they are our bogey team. It is time we got one over them and win. This is a big game as they will go above us if they win, unless we get a bonus point that is. But, looking at the table they also have a game in hand and a better points difference.

Predictions everyone?

A few weeks ago I thought we were the winners of this game as Sheffield were having a slump, but they now seem to be back on course.

Leigh - 11 May. Discussion!

08 May 2014 - 11:38 AM

As a topic hasn't yet been started, I thought I would do the honours.

Score predictions for the game?

I don't really want to put a score forward as it will only depress me!

But, mine is Dewsbury 16 Leigh 42.

Hope I am proven wrong.
