Batley Bulldogs player George Flanagan has been banned for one match and fined £50 after pleading guilty to the Grade B offence of punching in the 79th  minute of a Kingstone Press Championship fixture against Swinton Lions on May 12.

Three other players were also suspended for one match after submitting Early Guilty Pleas to Grade B punching charges in the same match: Ash Lindsay of Batley and Swinton players David Mills and Gene Ormsby.
