  1. Jed Cartwright is back for Hull, which is a big boost, but I still think without Pryce and Asiata we are going to struggle to score many points against the better sides. I can see us really getting stuck in and being in the game for a long time but ultimately falling short in a low scoring one. Hull 10 v Saints 16
  2. Alot of comments about how poor the game was but I've certainly seen worse. Cas didnt offer too much in attack, and Huddersfield were a bit frantic at times and looked disorganised on their last tackle plays. But there was good stuff too, and the speed of the game was OK.
  3. They won the game so you can't argue with the results I guess.
  4. Don't think I'd be going for goal here. For one thing it's a 50/50 shot, but also I think a try wins it.
  5. Ugly last tackle play from Hudds. Not quite sure what the plan was there.
  6. No he doesn't tbf, I don't think he was faking it. But I do think his response swayed the ref. The tackle was late yes, but not high, not particularly forceful, and looked to me to be more from the side than the back.
  7. Westerman's reaction (I won't judge whether it was an overreaction or not, he might really have been in agony) has bought that yellow card. Very very soft.
  8. I agree with this. Whilst I thought it was a really poor performance on the whole, the effort and commitment we showed when it was 24-10 and Warrington were attacking our line continuously was commendable. Previous Hull teams would have capitulated and lost that game by 40 points. At least under Cartwright I know I'm going to see a team that keeps fighting to the bitter end even if the quality of the rugby isn't where it needs to be.
  9. Yeah it was, but Martin has had a few like that where he just doesn't get high enough and his feet come back down before he can ground the ball. Something for him to work on.
  10. If there's one weakness in Martin's game it's that. Got to work on getting off the ground when hew going for the corner like that.
  11. In touch. It's just that sort of day.
  12. Ratchford has very obviously touched that. The ball clearly changes direction.
  13. I'd say Rapana is having a shocker but actually this is just a standard performance from him.
