  1. Agreed. Tireless work, but possibly over ambitious trying to do all that IMG rubbish which was skewed to get Bradford in the SL. No doubt MF had the best of intentions as he saw it.But in the end money had to come from somewhere. It was noticeable that it was always BQ pleading for support through the turnstiles. I can't call the silence of MF dignified. If anything it's the opposite.I found it insulting to be honest. Remember both MF and BQ said it was our club and they were simply the custodians. Therefore the silence of MF during these recent issues and the subtle drip drip of info leading to his departure seemed to be manipulative. Designed to create a more suitable scenario for MF.However this appears to require someone with deep pockets who will not question MF The nothing to see brigade have blighted this club for years. I personally will not be unseeing anything.
  2. Nobody who supports this club cannot have wondered where all the money was coming from from the time of the takeover. From where we were under the previous regime to getting all these players and the specialist media and back up staff, the training facilities, the pathway setups. It always seemed too quick and the growth of the crowds were a long way off covering what was going out. Always in the back of my mind was the 2010 era when BQ pulled away from the previous regime. At the time BQ made it clear why and in my eyes he was justified. When the cracks showed again it was a similar situation in that BQ was by and large providing the money but relying of MF to set up the deals. BQ again explained the issues but as in the 2010 scenario the other party MF kept quiet. The problem here is that MF has spent a lot of time in Union and in some high profile Money no object jobs.I thought this in 2023 while seeing all the big spending. I spoke to MF before he got involved in Oldham and at that time he was out of Union and looking at a setup in New York along the lines of Toronto. As a union supporter in the winter months due to my Irish heritage I had heard some strange stuff re MF coming out of their game. Now with the best will in the world these were things that cannot be ignored. Unfortunately in the absence of any clarification from MF of what went on with the Union stuff and furthermore this debacle at Oldham there is only one conclusion I can come to. BQ gave his side of the story as he did in 2010.Maybe he says too much but at least he says it MF has not. While that is his privilege I think personally this is not helpful. All I know is that MF was not happy with the direction of travel.Yet he was responsible for most of it. Unfortunately that very much ties in with his Union reputation. Let's hope things improve. I was at school with TF and hopefully those involved have a more controlled approach.
