Doncaster RLFC chief executive Carl Hall spoke to the official website after seeing the Dons suffer a narrow 14-6 defeat against Dewsbury Rams.

The Dons looking for a first victory in 2015 were denied three tries as Dewsbury clinched an eight point victory.

Hall felt aggrieved with some of the decisions that went against his side in the match, with the main incident that saw Matt Groat's effort chalked off with three minutes remaining.

He said: "I won't shy away from the fact that I was really, really disappointed with the official today.

"I am not one to make excuses and everybody knows that, but we had some really tough calls that went against us.

"We didn't get the rub of the green today, Matt (Groat) assures me that he got the ball down for the try at the end of the game, which wins us the match.

"He jumped up celebrating, he knows he got it down.  I just don't know what we have to do to get the win.

"The players were outstanding, everyone of them.  To say we had too hookers playing in the halves and we had a bit of adversity on Friday, the players deserved a lot better than that.

"The players gave it absolutely everything, they 100% deserved two points and the victory.

"It's hard with what you are allowed to say and what you are not allowed to say, if I could say what I wanted I would probably be at the RFL disciplinary next week."
