If Warrington are at full strength then they could put up a decent fight but 2 of their best players have been out for the past few games. Georgia Sutherland & Danni Bound, 2 genuine strike threats.

With Leah Burke out for the season I’d love to see Amelia Brown called up for the Wales test match.

That’s a great result for York, Jess Sharp has enormous potential, I don’t know much about the other players apart from first teamers Whitehead & Kershaw.

She said she saw a player who reminded her of Hollie Dodd. Get her signed up !

3 stuff ups cost Wigan badly, one was the knock on after the Grace Banks try, another time they had Saints pinned in their half and the winger dropped an average kick from Gaskin and Saints scored from the scrum. Greenfield made some horrendous errors. Would love to have seen the Wire v Giants game. Also apparently 1200 to see Leigh women beat Fev

I want to see competitive games when the big 3 play the next 3 so hopefully Wigan will put up a fight, I just can’t see them being strong enough up front against Saints.

I thought Darcy Stott was pretty strong for Saints and I wanted to give her some praise for her efforts.

Really enjoyed the game, I’m not going to write Leeds off just yet because they have some good players to come back in but Saints were very impressive and played with good shape.

I see Ruby Enright scored 3 tries, she is only just back from a horrendous knee injury. If she stays healthy I think she can go a long way in the game.

It’s currently halftime in the BMD semi final between Wynnum Manly v South Logan and there is an upset on the cards with Wynnum leading 18-12. The Magpies were woeful early and went behind 12-0 playing like they thought they only had to turn up to win. 2 tries & 2 conversions from out wide by Georgia made it 12-12 but Wynnum scored in the halftime hooter to lead 18-12.

France’ best forward in all honesty is 18yo Malys Borak and she is playing Union. It’s a real shame

It was a good performance by the Women’s team but I would like to have seen a couple more younger players in the mix like the men did, the women definitely need to expand the depth of the squad and widen the net with the next WC in 2 years. I would’ve like to have seen young gun Amelia Brown in the squad plus Jaz Bell & Georgia Sutherland.

Had a good game in a top of the table clash v Mackay Cutters and kicked a few goals.

I’d love to see Leah Burke get an NRLW contract, she’s an excellent finisher.

Captain Bryony King is a big loss, she is only 19yo and could have developed into a top quality league player.

How did Jess Sharp go on debut for York Valkyrie ? I watched Huddersfield Giants v Oulton Raidettes, Amelia Brown scored 3 long range tries but has gotten even bigger, just hope she doesn’t lose any speed or agility. The other big prospect at the Giants to keep an eye out for is Lois Naidole and she scored 2 tries.

There’s 2 players who made debut for Saints that we need to keep an eye out for Lucy McColm & Megan Williams. I saw a couple of games they played in last year and those 2 stood out above the other Saints youngsters.

I hope so, she is certainly good enough. The thing that has stood out so far is her defence is excellent and when you combine that with her utility value plus goal kicking, she’d be a good pickup.

Fran Goldthorp has signed for the North Queensland Cowboys/Girls. It hasn’t been officially announced yet but it is definitely a done deal. Great to see imo, thank god for the NRLW otherwise I think we may have lost her to Rugby Union.

Just on Hull KR, they have a 17yo back rower Jess Sharp who is actually contracted to York Valkyrie and loaned back to KR, she has it all imo, size and skill with loads of ability. Definitely one to watch.
