Classic FA Cup tie at the DW this afternoon, at 3pm, both sets of fans pretty much agreed in being non-fussed, promotions the priority, don't need any more of a fixture pile up etc etc. 89th minute - Blackburn equalise to make it 2-2, away end goes mental. 94th minute - Aasgaard scores a screamer to win it for Wigan, home end goes mental. Who cares if there are now not enough free mid weeks between now and the end of the season to fit all the matches in.............!!!

Signed up to do a 2020 walking challenge for the year, 5.5 miles aday, on target so far. Only noticeable change is the dog has lost 1kg and had to up his daily calorie intake!

Having largely given up for most of the year, signed up for a virtual Hadrian's Wall challenge yesterday, 90 miles to walk/run, they suggested doing it over 12 weeks to get started, but opted for 5 weeks to make it more of a challenge. Thinking of doing Lands End to John o Groats for the next one, slightly more challenging at 1083.8 miles! Costs 25 quid a challenge, but I need the financial buy in, even if its only small investment for motivation!

Saw Wigan sneak a win today and secure another season of Championship football, Referee must have had a stinker though, thought he was our man our the match!

Tried running last year and eased of the gym, did a 10k motivated by raising a few quid with the wife for my father in laws hospice, but we didn't get on, running that is, the wife and I get on I think! Used to clock up a lot of mileage with the dog, but he's 14 now and can barely make it round the block, so really only found the gym to be the sort of exercise that fits in around work, just can't get back into it.

I'm not man enough to lift this body of lard up 10 times let alone 100!

I need to get back into the gym, can't find the motivation though.

Currently chain watching Sunderland till I die on Netflix, well worth a watch, fascinating, if not slightly morbid viewing given we all know the fate of the club and those involved as the season unfolds. Really well shot and put together.
