  1. personally, i think he's a bit small for a backrower, had a bit of a cult following at warrington as he came through as being extremely firey a la john bateman when he came through.
  2. Not necessarily, Williams was playing at the start of this period of 8 matches, the pair of them have been naff, give or take the odd flash. Someone before mentioned him being our best player vs saints, he was alright, for Ben currie, I'd have said Clark was out beat player (certainly first half) as he was against Wigan and we've had a bunch of wire fans lamenting why we're letting him go. The reason we're letting him go and the reason we should be releasing Ben currie and not giving him a new contract is that these performances are 1 or 2 times a year now ive been a big supporter of Ben currie, I've defended him through this period recovering and finding his feet from 2 acl reconstructions when others wanted him gone, but last year he let me down so much and if it wasn't for olly Holmes being a full on car crash of a signing, his reluctance to tackle would have been noticed a lot more. He's not a starting sl back rower anymore. Or he could go to leigh and play out of his skin what do I know
  3. No, not really, I hoped that would be the case after the opening game of the season, but its just not there anymore
  4. You must have had very very low expectations for him. Powell said he was trying to emulate wigan with field and French by getting some pure pace, but he's been a bystander for the majority of this year. He's not nimble enough to create anything for himself bar the odd kick return but those are few and far between, he's not a good link man to our terrible centres, and spends far too much time getting angry for getting tackled
  5. You dont like to see players injured, but maybe Peters will sit Lewis down after that, and sat, stop being a #####, just play the game, you just got yourself injured
  6. and cam smith is playing in his position at leeds. he's pretty first choice there.
  7. he looked like an old man getting up off the floor during the warm up, honestly, he had limited mobility.
  8. we probably average more people on the town hall lawn celebrating challenge cup wins than huddersfields home attendances.
  9. Mikaele leaving, and mcguire coming into the team, catalans away. thats where the form wobbled.
  10. On the plus side though, you finished higher than warrington did last year, remember?
  11. Oh look at that they went for an additional look to see if he got it back, maybe he should have gone through ritson like charnley did a few weeks ago...
  12. Welsby proper stropping there that they went left and away from him.
  13. And? Ive seen sky games where the vid ref has watched that back 10 times to see whether they got a finger back on it before it the ground. Also why does everything have to have a leigh reference made?
  14. All the 50/50s, all the luck, which they deserve as they're working hard and earning it.
  15. For another team that gets poured over to see if he gets his hand back on it before it hits the ground
