  1. Now you say it, now I see it. Why is this? Is it a software fault/issue/feature and is it common to all/most packages?
  2. Me too. Much to my surprise. He didn't do the "oh look at me I've made it so everyone else can" at all. As you said, good tv.
  3. My hearing is fine, and I suffer from this seemingly more and more. It's not volume related, it's mumble related. Many a time I've rewound and bunged the sub titles on and I still can't link the mumbles to the words even when I know why they're supposed to be saying.
  4. Please don't lump is together with Huddersfield. Trinity fought and earned their place, Huddersfield Town ad a new ground and that made the then Fartown the chosen ones.
  5. Wonder how long it'll be before Huddersfield tap him up.
  6. Yes, but at least he's not racing cars up the motorway.
  7. Yes he broke the line, and then sought to offload ASAP and without even hinting that he may run the ball. I've followed Ben's career since he was a junior and I think he's struggling at the moment, I just hope he's carrying a knock as he's been a firm favourite of mine for years. For all the age and experience in the side Warrington had no leader that stood up and made it stick when Hull were vulnerable. I'm no writing Warrington off because they lost to Hull in a match they should have won, in fact in not writing them off at all. I am saying that if I were a Wire fan I'd be worried that their recent successes will fizzle out unless the shelves are restocked fairly soon.
  8. Ok. Stick your head in the sand then. Oh and Chris Riley, he's almost as bad as Peter Fox.
  9. Felt a bit sorry for the Warrington fans today, and worried for them for next year too. Westwood looked as rough and tough as ever but he's clearly lost some more pace, gone are the days when he finished liked the centre he once was. I thought Morley and Briers looked pretty tired too.
  10. Yes a fair point. He'd have a even more years left in him if he'd kept in top shape.
  11. Throw in the Aussies to win the ashes and Lee Briers for a commonwealth gold for the 100m and you'll bag yourself a small fortune.
  12. I used to live in Trumpington, it's not a place I'd expect nobility to live. Although just a village away lives a horrid little Lord. Apart from that a great post by Just be Clear.
  13. I'd advise any betting people to back against London.
  14. Great signing, and as he's going to be living in Hull it's extremely unlikely that he's come here on holiday. Aren't HKR with this signing doing what all clubs should be? Bringing quality in!!
  15. I think it's a decent comp, and the teams taking part certainly gave it everything. Cheer up you miserable sods.
  16. Mulholland was/is trying to further the interests of the game because he's actually interested in it and works to address the under representation it has in the media and society. Cameron just wants his shiny slimy mug associated with any good PR stories for his own political gain which is massively different in my eyes.
  17. Rubbish. I despise politicians seeking publicity from sport. Cameron is a slimy man, he's been all over the success of Andy Murray, the Olympians etc etc ALL after the event whilsy at the same time his economic and social policies are directly damaging sports participation rates across the board. The man cannot help himself in seeking out what he considers good news stories to get his mug shot all over. I'll give it ten minutes after the forthcoming royal birth before he's there grinning telling the world how the entire nation is overjoyed. This isn't unique to Tories, but he's a serial and noxious offender. Sport shouldn't be a publicity platform for politicians.
  18. He looks broken to me. He looks like a centre that's spent his career in the second row based on having a massive heart.
  19. Unbelievable. I think the first intrnational games were played in 93/94 and almost 20 years on they've got this unfounded prejudice to deal with. I'm never shocked at how ingrained the dislike, distrust and underlying hatred of some within union is towards our game when the surface is scratched.
  20. I'd expect every person in charge to do their upmost to save clubs. I'm not sure how you work out that Richard Lewis or any other RL official saved "my club" though.
  21. Nostalgia for Richard Lewis, have people been on te cooking sherry?
  22. You can't legislate for every eventuality. Also it would allow clubs to make calculated decisons before deliberately cheating.
  23. On the face of it, it looks that way. Does the RFL pay prize money for each place like the Premier League does?
