  1. The over-reaction and reaching on these pages really does astonish me at times!
  2. Leeds United kicked off at 12.30pm on Saturday so plenty of time for anyone to get between the two games. Not that I want to tar LUFC fans, I'm one myself, but it's probably not the best plan to schedule two games as such on the same day.
  3. I think it's great that you are doing so well, mixes things up a bit. All the best for the play-offs. You just never know!!!!
  4. Spot on, agree with every word of this
  5. So it's ok for you to throw unfounded accusations about but not for anyone else to voice their opinion? And no, it's not an acceptable response to call a fellow forum member an unpleasant name. There have been some great games to attend this season - Widnes at home, Dewsbury away, both Fax games, York away in the cup. So forgive those non-freeloading, non bottom kissing supporters amongst us who choose to still attend and support our club.
  6. What an absolute gem and an incredible gesture. I can't imagine him with short hair, hope he doesn't do a Samson, lol.
  7. That was a very poor game between two poor teams, neither side looked up for it. Someone put on Facebook at half time that we were playing well, they must have been watching a different game to me. Bulls were there for the talking, they'd have been well beaten by a Fev or a Fax on their day. We just weren't on ours. Onto next week.
  8. I know that, but Ashes tickets are like gold dust and I've got tickets for the Saturday. It's the third test, hopefully the one where we smash the Aussies to lift the little urn. Total dilemma if it comes to it, but it would be very hard to turn down Wembley.
  9. Yes, but I've already got the Ashes tickets! ??. Haha, send her my way, I'll have a word ?
  10. BBC did send out score notifications as normal, though. Which makes it even more curious that they didn't bother to post them on their website.
  11. Poses a potential dilemma for the cricket fans amongst us, as it's the same weekend as the 3rd Ashes test at Headingley
  12. Adding my condolences to this thread as well as the other. Cancer is such a cruel disease, taking people well before their time. I never met Bev but have only heard positive things about her, a very sad loss. Xx
  13. This is very sad news. My condolences to Kevin and Beverley’s family and friends.
  14. Really enjoyed that, outstanding defence at times and we now look to be gelling and organised as a team and playing to a game plan. Long may it continue.
  15. Brierley Butterworth Ward Tackle of the season award to Smeaton though!! ?
  16. Whatever it was, the Swinton fans at that end were furious.
  17. Just to be clear - it was Reittie who got sent off and Ward who was sin binned? Commentary on the radio said Brown sent off at first, although later corrected, but said sinbinning was Taira! ??
  18. Yates - took so many late hits and showed his potential Scotty - for the touchline conversion that essentially won us the game Brearley - impressive week on week
  19. I was proud of each and every one of them, they all played their socks off. Hopefully, this is the sign of things coming together a little bit now. Either way, that must have provided a massive boost in confidence and motivation, which can only be a positive.

I'm just gonna leave this here ?
