  1. Unfortunately I couldn’t get to the game even though it was in “home turf” for me. Looks like a solid win to start the season
  2. Should say “ nteredting that the numpty major” ….Fat fingers strike again
  3. Looks like another attempt to explain why they are the only club playing at Spotland. How can they claim to be the only pro club in the borough. Hunters sting that the numpty major gets involved for football but not rugby league. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/feb/28/rochdale-fight-to-survive-ratcliffe-liquidation?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
  4. Sorry to hear about the passing of Peter. He has been involved with Hornets for decades, and was a true Hornet supporter at heart. RIP Peter
  5. I see from the XPA that the true dual code legend and Horners great Malcolm Price has passed away at the age of 86. I never saw him play but had the pleasure of meeting him. Surely a player with unique achievements while playing for Hornets. I hope the club can do something on the web and first home game to remember him. Thoughts with the family at this sad time.
  6. Seasons greetings to all fellow Hornets

  8. According to Hornets website, if you had a ticket for the cancelled London game and have not claimed a refund it will be transferred to this game
  9. I think we are seeing the next stage of the Rugby League allowing the third tier to be killed off. If the RFL was genuinely interested in its survival it would take a proactive approach. Blindside Johnny makes a valid point in some ways about the RFL not going against Championship clubs, but in other ways this is typical of the short term approach of the last few decades taken by the RFL, and that has hindered rugby league more broadly. i sense the RFL are fully locked into the IMG proposals, and these in reality lead to a two tier competition rather than 3. I really hope I am wrong
  10. RIP Malcolm. A true friend of Hornets, a genuinely funny man and a true gent. Thinking of all of your family with best wishes from the Brummie’s
  11. I think he is just covering in the England game until the players involved in the NRL final arrive. Still a great reflection on Joe though.
  12. Unbelievable and a disgrace. If a person on the street had said that they would be liable for arrest and prosecution.
  13. Can anyone share the comments that were made please?
