  1. Here’s the 18 man squad Jack Billington Keanan Brand Andrew Bulman Greg Burke Brett Carter Rio Corkill Luke Cresswell Charlie Emslie Ben Evans Adam Jackson Ryan Johnston Jarrod Sammut Connor Saunders Roly Seward Ryan Shaw Shane Toal Josh Wood Greg Worthington
  2. Ridiculous having to play away on Saturday after last nights away game at Haven, sums up the sport in this country. Am I correct in thinking we signed a few local amateurs on dual reg before the 4th August deadline? If so play them all on Saturday. Dead rubber of a game for Barrow, more important game’s coming up.
  3. Great result last night, that win and the Bradford result will prove very important by the end of the season. Sounded a good old derby game with both teams going at it hard, as it should be.
  4. No lack of effort, just simply beaten by a much better team. I don’t understand Cresswell being on the bench to come on at hooker when we’ve got a fully fit hooker not getting a look in.
  5. Half time Barrow 0 London 20. Completely outplayed by a much quicker team. According to the usual numptys on the popular side it’s all the refs fault!
  6. I’ll take a win of any type today, that’s all that matters.

    Loan players

Jack Billington signed on loan from Huddersfield for rest of season. Prop / backrower.
  8. Great result last night, well done for grinding it out. Big game on Sunday now against London.
  9. Looking at the 21 it’ll have to be Johnston and Adam Jackson.
  10. Hot on the heels of Wood signing up again, Andrew Bulman has signed for the next two years. Definitely not seen the best of him yet, good re-signing imo.
  11. Fui Fui Moi Moi is also playing for Millom, think he’s this lads cousin.
  12. A rumour started by a journalist who apparently is always right!
  13. Wood has signed on for another year at Barrow, great news!
  14. Unfortunately had to retire due to the recent knee injury he’s picked, been a hell of a servant to the club, I wish him all the best in his retirement from the game.

Hopefully my prediction is a mile out, looks to be a great first half.

Gutted to miss todays game due to work. Can’t see anything but a heavy defeat coming out of this game. Hopefully no more injuries picked up.
  17. Yet another tough game, all you can ask for is last weeks effort again. Also the unknown Ellis Archer could have a big impact.
  18. Following on from Harvey Makin, 2 more youngsters from Wigan have come in on loan, centre Zach Eckersley and prop Kavan Rothwell. Eckersley is a belter.

    5 match ban, £375 fine.
  20. Pass for the winning try didn’t look forward to me. Better game management in the last 15 minutes won the game for Batley. Great effort from the Barrow lads. Kibula offered nothing for Batley today.
  21. Don’t think the players deserved that result after that effort. Bit smarter with the game management and we would have scraped it. Thought 1-17 stood up today. Wilkinson not been involved before as Cresta has never rated him, only got him on board in desperate times, today he’s shown what he’s capable of
  22. Wigan prop Harvey Makin has joined on loan. 19 year old who apparently runs and tackles hard. Played for London last week against Batley.

Apparently told the ref he was a blind c**t. The RFL need to clamp down on these type of things, I’m amazed Stack doesn’t get pulled up for it too, this season he’s been constantly ranting and raving at refs.

    ANTON

Massive loss, been outstanding since signing. Reinforcement’s definitely needed.

    v Halifax

Gillam apparently has an Achilles injury, which can lead to a long time out if snapped. Ben Evans went to hospital but has been cleared of any serious injury to neck/back.
