It's just not clicking at Leeds is it. They deserved to lose last night, another inconsistent performance with errors at key times in the game. You just don't know what you are going to get with them, moments of brilliance or lapses in concentration. I thought at start of season that this is a real make or break season for the coach - imo they weren't going to get close to Wigan/Saints/Dragons but with the signings they made they should improve enough to be competing at the level of KR/Wire and cementing that top 6 spot. So far, it just looks like a replication of last season. It might improve during the season but it's not looking great

Rugby League Challenge Cup 6th Round Draw
Yorky replied to Old Frightful's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Last year's semi's and final were the very essence of what a cup tournament should be in any sport, highly competitive, high drama with a bit of an upset thrown in for good measure. I don't follow any of the 4 teams in those 3 games but they were some of the most exciting nail biting games I watched all year -
Rugby League Challenge Cup 6th Round Draw

That's disappointing they are really missing out here. I get they wouldn't want to show the smaller clubs but round 6 is always going to throw up a decent clash involving the big teams. Surely Leeds vs St Helens would do good viewing numbers for them?! Does anybody know, will it be 1 x Red Button game, 1 x the sportsman? -
Realistically, genuine opportunities for London to pick up any points this season are going to be very limited. An injury & suspension ravaged bang out of form Hull is going to as good as it gets. I really don't want to see London finish on zero points this season so for that reason alone I'm hoping they can edge a close encounter and get the 2 points (sorry Hull fans)

Yes a very entertaining game to watch. Thought Leeds were very good in spells, defended well under a lot of pressure and really made the most of the rare 1st half attacks they had. The amount of errors is a concern though, they invite a lot of pressure on themselves due to these. Thought at start of season that this year was going to be a rebuilding job, improved on last season and making the top 6, but not near the levels of Wigan/St Helens. 3 games in I think that's how it's looking. It will be interesting following them this season, if it really clicks with the new signings a think they go move up a gear or two

Are any of today's 1895 cup games being streamed?

Thanks for the info - appreciated -
Seems bizarre that now they are in the Superleague with all games televised on sky plus possibility of a game or 2 on BBC that a business wouldn't want to sponsor the shirt with all the coverage and exposure it would get - hopefully they find one soon. On a different note, it's almost inevitable that they won't be playing superleague next season - but points wise, how many points do people think London can realistically get? I really hope they can pick up a few wins this year, its been a brilliant effort to get promoted and it doesn't do anyone any good if they get humiliated every week and end on zero points

Not that I've seen. Is it too late to see if there's enough interest ?

Good game wasnt it. The TV companys have got their TV selections bang on so far in the first 3 rounds of this cup - all been competitive and really watchable games. It would be nice if 1 of these lower ranked teams could go on a bit of a cup run

Decent game this. Are Oldham expected to be one of the top teams in League 1?
