Adrian Lam’s men are back in action on Tuesday as they face up against local rivals St Helens at the AJ Bell Stadium (K.O. 7:45pm) in Round 14 of the Betfred Super League.

Sunday’s team news announcement brought a number of positives regarding players who could well make their return to first team action.

After struggling with a hamstring injury since the return from lockdown in July, half-back Jake Shorrocks was named in the 21-man squad to face Saints.

Winger Dom Manfredi returned for selection after missing out against Wakefield with a head knock.

Experienced forward George Burgess continues to fully overcome a hip problem.
