Wigan Warriors face Salford Red Devils in Round 17 of the Betfred Super League on Friday evening (K.O. 5:30pm). The Cherry and Whites will head to St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium to take on Ian Watson’s side, who come into the tie fresh off the back of a Coral Challenge Cup Final defeat. Wigan on the other hand, head into the game having last played two weeks ago, defeating Warrington Wolves in a nail-biter at Emerald Headingley Stadium in Round 15. Team News Adrian Lam has made three changes to the 21 that was named to face Catalans (before the postponement last week), with Oliver Gildart returning alongside Joe and George Burgess. Youngsters Amir Bourouh and Sam Halsall miss out, along with captain Sean O’Loughlin who is out with a hamstring strain. After returning for selection last week, prop-forward Tony Clubb is again available and looking to make his return to action this weekend. The experienced forward has not featured since early March, spending time on the sidelines recovering from a neck injury. Injury List Youngster Ethan Havard continues to recover from an ankle injury first sustained against Leeds Rhinos in Wigan’s Coral Challenge Cup Semi Final defeat.
