Despite RFL funding cuts we are clearly a club that is remaining on the front foot and demonstrating our ambition which is great to see.

S R WAITE GROUP SPONSOR TWO-DAY PRE-SEASON CAMP AT RYDAL PENRHOS

 

Thanks to the generous support of our club sponsor S R Waite Group, our first team squad are heading to Wales to utilise the same pre-season facilities as Super League champions St Helens.

Head Coach Matt Calland said “We are delighted to be able to get the staff and playing group away together, to utilise first-class facilities, for an important two-day session ahead of the start of our League One campaign. 

"A big thanks must go to S R Waite Group, Andy Mazey, and the board for supporting this initiative.”

Rydal Penrhos will be welcoming Hornets and giving exclusive use of areas such as the swimming pools, fitness suites, sports hall, and exceptional outdoor playing surfaces.

Calland's side will also have exclusive use of the school’s excellent accommodation throughout the stay and Rydal Penrhos staff will be putting on meals and entertainment at the site's state-of-the-art Ferguson Centre.

Hornets are the latest high-profile club to use Rydal Penrhos’ incredible facilities, following on from the all-conquering St Helens team that has won three Super League titles in a row.

Glamorgan Cricket Club and Cricket Wales have also held recent coaching camps at the school.
