I'm going for a Salford win on the grounds of insanity.

If I'd put this thread up on Monday, I'd have voted Salford, sacking a coach does tend to get a bit of a brown bounce though so I'd go with Bradford by about 12.

I don't want to get into the idea that this a must win match, though I've no doubt it will come up, but there is little doubt the win would be nice. Maybe when we get some idea of just what the make up of the side is likely to be we might have more idea what will actually be achieved, I'm just hoping we can make a new start, mentally speaking, and show some belief. That would be a good start.

Nothing but a Bradford win here.
Bradford sack coach which will give them a lift.
Salford have a prop crisis as Boyle has received a one match ban, Cashmere and Jewitt both still unfit.
How long until next season?

That should be the marketing catchphrase of this match

Given that i'm unsure just what kind of impact St Hilaire can have as he has essentially been schooled in the way of McNamara and showed very little aptitude for the role in his one try against Crusaders earlier this year; i'm going to go for the law of averages angle, stating we have to win again sometime:
Bradford by 10.
Bradford by 10.

I was going to post "Too long!", but will next season be any different?

This is my school of thought as well. I actually don't think the bouncebackability you get with a "new coach" really applies in this situation - the players seem to have a lot of respect for McNamara and regardless of what fans on the terrace may think, this run of losses is not down to coaching alone. There are numerous factors at play - one is the frustration and lack of confidence, something that isn't going to improve when a coach the players apparently have a lot of time for ups and leaves.
Maybe it's just me, but if anything the new coach effect will be more apparrent (hopefully) next season with the players that will still be here.

Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

3,500 what?....blades of grass?

I have the feeling that the Bulls are going to win. The players who haven't been performing have a lot to prove, and I don't count the youngsters in this. Last week they played as if they had never seen each other before, and the tackling was woeful. You could see Addey wanted to get stuck in but was given little or no support.
I don't think it will depend on the coach, but the players themselves going out with more resolve and a comfortable win.
I have been known to be wrong before though.

What makes you say that the crowd will be a low one?
I for one think it'll help boost the gate on Sunday (re:McNamara leaving the club) now that the doom mongers and those that have stayed away from Odsal for so long have got their wish in McNamara not being helm, they'll turn up and start coming to the games.
I do agree that the pre-match entertainment desperately needs updating but that's for another time.
It'll be interesting to see how the players react now McNamara has left the club, because this is a massive chance for Lee and the all the playesr to distance themselves from the poor results of late and for the players to show the supporters the passion and pride in playing in the famous red, amber and black.
Bradford 14-8 Salford in a real scrap for the points with just over 8,000 there.

Agree and now is the chance for the players to distance themselves from the poor results and form under the McNamara era.
