I'll leave it up to you. That unexpected clashing during the Wigan game was daft. Just remember it's not about the ref!
For those not listening on the radio, they're doing a grand job conveying the emotion. I can hear it in his voice.
A bit of a sped up national anthem mind.

Haha. Try scored for England by the lad with no number on his shirt, they were flapping about! Turned out to be Tony Clubb apparently.
0-6, Westwood converts.

Depending on the success of the game (competitiveness and attendance) is there any value in making this a permanent warm-up fixture for England?

Could do. Are they playing for any silverware today? It could extend to the Purdham Cup each year.

Cumbria XIII 6-6 England XIII after 19:00 minutes.
Try: Kyle Amor
Conversion: Rob Purdham 1/1
Great to see Cumbria score following some serious errors from England, the penalty for offside followed by the knock on in-goal forcing the drop-out to then kicking the ball out on the full for another penalty to Cumbria, which resulted in the try to Amor.

This is a cracking occasion and a really fitting tribute to GP. Big crowd, and a proper full-blooded game of RL - this isn't a half paced exhibition game. The Cumbrian lads have done brilliantly so far, but I expect the superior fitness of the England team will tell in the end.

Cumbria XIII 6-6 England XIII after 32:00 minutes.
England force their first drop-out of the game but it comes to no avail as the Sykes grubber on the last is easily picked up by Gary Broadbent who evades the oncoming England players.

It's just that
- Cumbria needs top fixtures
- the county side itself needs playing opportunities
- and the England fringe players need to get a run out at this time for the upcoming international fixtures

Cumbria XIII 6-12 England XIII after 38:00 minutes.
Try: Gareth Carvell
Conversion: Ben Westwood 2/2
England at long last finally crack some resilient Cumbrian defence after moments ago Joe Westerman had a try chalked off.

Half-time:
Cumbria XIII 6-12 England XIII
This match has exceeded the £50,000 target in raising funds for the Purdham family. Doesn't Rugby League make you proud on days like this?

Incredibly proud of the Cumbria team's first half performance, they've ran and tackled their hearts out.
From an England perspective Riley has been very good at full back and Westwood has been everywhere. Have to say that Sykes and Myler have been absolutely rubbish as a half back pairing.
