Barrow Island 24 v Walney 6 (HT 12-0)

Barrow Island deservedly won this Barrow and District league encounter, on a glue pot of a pitch Barrow Island swept into a 12-0 in the first 5 minutes of the game, the reminder of the half was scoreless with both sides testing each other. The second half started the same as the first with Barrow Island scoring in the first few minutes of the half and there was no further scores until the last 15 minutes when Barrow Island scored once more before Walney pulled back a consilation try.

Both teams had some good younger players on shown, there must have been 15-18 players under the age of 18 between the two sides.
