Ulverston 'A' 28 V Walney 'A' 24 (Ht 16-6)

Ulverston came out on top in this B&D league clash, they lead for most of the match but a strong second half performance from Walney looked at though they had snatched victory. Walney's ill discipline allowed Ulverston to take a 16-6 half time lead which they extended early in the second half to 22-6 but Walney finally got the act together, kept there discipline and started to got back into the game, this resulted in 3 converted tries to sweep Walney into 24-22 lead with 10 minutes left. They looked as though they were going to hold out for a win until Ulverston managed to scramble over for a converted try with 2 minutes left.

Overall a good game between two young and evenly balanced sides.
