Mrs T Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Dear All, Slightly disappointing in 2012, we didn't hit our £1000 + target, despite efforts from the boys, scoring over 200 tries, We only just fell short, making £981 for FRISA, a total of £8637.75 since we launched this fund-raising scheme back in 2006. As we move into this new era of a fantastically supported and handsomely financed Featherstone Rovers, we are setting out our stall this year to raise £1362.25 with Pledge a Try 2013, so we can retire the scheme at the end of the season, having contributed £10,000 to support FRISA and player recruitment during the hard times at Featherstone Rovers. If the chaps do their bit, we need pledges to the tune of almost £7 per try to hit this target, so let us know if you wish to continue/contribute. Pledge any amount you feel is affordable week on week, we can collect week on week so your pledge is manageable and not a shock at the end, if the chaps storm the season with all our hopes pushing them on. We'll be in the Blue Lagoon before the match adn at half-time if you want to give us your Pledge. Sharon and Jon Thatcher
