It is time for the fans to step in. I'm sick to death of all the smoke and mirrors from these people who claim to care about us. Hopefully a fans forum will be called so we can take charge of the situation.

It is generally accepted that owners & directors receive free admission to games. If they want to pay then that is up to them.

A co-owner of our club doesn't need to pay.

It certainly has that feel to it.

Bill Quinn has officially left the club & Jim Minton has replaced him as the majority shareholder!

The one thing that is really clear is that the fans must take some form of ownership in the club.

The club can't survive playing at BP & there is no other suitable sporting stadium in the borough. Bill will have to spend at least £20m if we build our own stadium. Buying Bower Fold is the most sensible option open to us at the moment. We have the right owner in charge everyone so now is the time to back Bill & the boys!

The main take home is to forget about playing at Boundary Park and Bower Fold will be our home for the foreseeable future.

Even with the name change ultimately it is the same company. Bill & Mike should have been made aware of the debt at the time of sale, hopefully CH has left no more landmines!!
