  1. ISSUE 510 (JULY 2025) PICTURED - AVAILABLE FROM 27TH JUNE With an uptick in the overall attendance, and a relatively new name on the trophy following Hull KR’s first Challenge Cup triumph since 1980, there was plenty to feel upbeat about after Wembley this year. In addition, we saw Wigan Warriors claim their first Women’s Challenge Cup in style, and York Knights pip Featherstone Rovers to the 1895 Cup in golden point extra time. Not forgetting the Champion Schools final where Rainford High, of St Helens, and Sirius Academy, of Hull battled it out. We have pictures and reaction from all the games. The Wheelchair Challenge Cup final took place shortly after Wembley weekend, and as well as coverage from that clash between London Roosters and Halifax Panthers, RLW editor Lorraine Marsden shares her thoughts on how it could be included as part of rugby league’s annual pilgrimage to the capital in future. A familiar face from television and these days rugby league too was at Wembley handing out the trophies, and we caught up with RFL President Adam Hills to talk about how he views his role in the sport and, as an Australian, whether he will be cheering on England or the Kangaroos in the long-awaited Test Series later this year. We’ve also got Konrad Hurrell facing 20 quickfire questions, a look back to the arrival of a new name in the game in 1975, and our regular international coverage. Plus, we have a very special image of the month where rugby league's first ever Knight, Sir Billy Boston, receives his honour from King Charles at Buckingham Palace. We hope you enjoy our Wembley celebration issue and we’ll be back again next month as attention returns to the race for Super League, Championship and League One glory. Not available in shops. 2. ISSUE 509 (JUNE 2025) PICTURED - AVAILABLE FROM 29TH MAY Not available in shops. Order here. Get the Digital Edition online - anywhere in the world and save £££s on a subscription! Inside this issue, we fire 20 questions at Hull KR’s reigning Man of Steel Mikey Lewis, and chat to Will Pryce about his stint in the NRL and his decision to return to Super League with Hull FC. Oliver Pratt has already tasted Wembley success with Wakefield last year, and he tells us why he wants to be involved in more showpiece events like it as his career develops further. We pay a visit to Newcastle Thunder to hear about the rebuilding job they are undertaking to get the club back on the path to success. With the Women’s Super League underway, we catch up with Wigan’s teenage sensation Isabel Rowe to find out how she is managing her meteroric rise in the sport, and down under, PNG international Ua Ravu talks to us about her unusual journey into rugby league. We also preview the new Wheelchair Super League season and find out how Toulouse Olympique are building for another push towards a place in Super League. On the grassroots scene, we take a look at the amateur game in Hull and ask if it as strong as it ought to be, and our international coverage includes interviews with Frenchman down under Anthony Anselme, and a fearsome legend of the Brisbane Rugby League competition, Campbell Dews. It’s another packed issue to keep you busy through to Wembley weekend and beyond. 3. RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD - ISSUE 508 - MAY 2025 Not available in shops. Order here. Digital edition available from Pocketmags.com from Thursday. In rugby league we can perhaps spend too much time reflecting on the things that are wrong in our sport and overlook the good stuff. With the RFL undertaking yet another ‘strategic review’ of its operations, the ongoing dramas at Salford and the loss of yet another expansion club, this time in Cornwall, that’s hardly surprising. But the speed at which tickets for the long-awaited Ashes Series are selling, including ‘sold out’ signs already up at Everton and Headingley, should give us some cause for optimism. Can England win the series, and if they did what benefits might it generate? We dare to dream of the possibilities inside this issue, and we also talk to Wigan’s Harry Smith, our cover star who will be an integral part of trying to turn dreams to reality. We also preview the new Women’s Super League season. It kicks off in the shadow of England’s shocking defeat in Las Vegas, but the players will be keen to get out on the field and prove they can bounce back from that. Can York Valkyrie make it a three-peat? In the Championship, we take a look at Halifax who have enjoyed a flying start to their season, and in League One, we catch up with Huddersfield Giants Legend Eorl Crabtree to discover how he plans to boost the fortunes of Midlands Hurricanes in his new role there as managing director. All this plus our regular features will give you plenty of things to feel positive about amidst rugby league’s seemingly never ending existential crises. 4. ISSUE 507 (APR 2025) PICTURED - AVAILABLE FROM 27th MARCH Not available in shops. Order print copies here. Get the Digital Edition Inside this issue: Leigh Leopards' irresistible rise has been one of rugby league's great tales in recent years. We get the inside story of their success and an insight into their future. Huddersfield Giants prop Tom Burgess answers 20 quickfire questions. Rugby league arrived in Las Vegas for a second successive year in March and we take a look back at some of the best of the action and get the thoughts of some of those players involved. Off the field, we talk to David Baines, the new chair of the All Party Parliamentary Rugby League Group who combines his love of the game with his role as a Member of Parliament, speaking up for the sport in the corridors of power. We catch up with Elliott Whitehead who is now back from a highly successful stint down under with Canberra Raiders, returning to Catalans Dragons to finish his playing career in the south of France. A decade after his last head coach role, Paul Cooke has been thrust unexpectedly into the Featherstone hot seat. He talks to us about why he took on this new challenge. Having served a doping ban, a regretful Jamie Dallimore is back in rugby league and we find out how and why he plans to rebuild his reputation with North Wales Crusaders. Former Featherstone Rovers halfback Tally Bryer talks to us about her decision to join Leeds Rhinos in the Women's Super League. England’s double Wheelchair World Cup winner Jack Brown, currently residing in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, tells us why he is returning to England to play for his native Halifax Panthers in the Wheelchair Super League. In the Championship we catch up with Matty Fozard at Widnes, and in League One, Jarrod Sammut talks about his much-travelled career that sees him currently running out with Keighley Cougars. Beyond these shores, we follow York Valkyrie’s pre-season trip to Morocco. Back home, although Bedford Tigers may have missed out on a place in League One, they tell us how they are still busy expanding the boundaries of our sport.
