#3248123 Broncos welcome RugbyTel as Main sponsor

Posted by Broncos News on 17 December 2015 - 11:52 AM

London Broncos are pleased to announce that RugbyTel, the ethical telecoms provider, will become the new Main Sponsor of the club in 2016. The deal will see RugbyTel featured on the front of the London Broncos first team kits, and they will be central to all the London Broncos community engagement activity with community clubs throughout the South East.

RugbyTel delivers bespoke telecoms services to companies, and creates sustainable revenue streams for rugby clubs and charities. They buy the mobile minutes, the internet connections, and the fixed and IP technology wholesale from the leading network providers, and pass on the cost savings to their clients. Half of the profit from any new agreement introduced by Broncos to RugbyTel will be donated to the rugby club or charity of the new clients choice.

Tom Williams, Commercial Manager at the club, commented on the deal, ‘we are working to find sponsors who really want to work with the club going forward, in helping us build towards a sustainable future. RugbyTel fit this perfectly, as they are passionate about sustainable sport. The deal will not only benefit London Broncos, but community clubs in the South East as well, given the increased engagement activity that this agreement allows us to do. This activity will not only be around helping clubs find more players, but helping them to build up revenue streams to build a strong foundation to grow from.

‘Our new Community Club Partnership Scheme will be announced in the coming weeks, and we will be looking to work with community clubs in the new year as they prepare for the season ahead.’

Gareth Hardy, a Director at RugbyTel, commented, ‘Our deal with London Broncos came about due to their ambition to build a strong foundation for the future. They are also passionate about building stronger links with the rugby league community in the South East to help the game as a whole build and develop from a sustainable foundation. This encapsulates what our business is all about and we are excited about getting to know everyone at London Broncos and in the wider rugby league community in the South East.’

If you would like to have a chat to RugbyTel about how they could look after your telecoms requirements please contact the club on commercial@londonbroncosrl.com  To find out more about RugbyTel, visit http://www.rugbytel.com.

#3238302 London Broncos to help Light up Pitshanger Lane

Posted by Broncos News on 23 November 2015 - 04:38 PM

London Broncos will be supporting the annual Light up the Lane event at the nearby Pitshanger Lane on Sunday the 29th November. The club is one of the sponsors of the event and will have a promotional stand. In addition, members of the London Broncos first team will be in attendance to meet local residents and businesses to promote the club.

Commenting on the club’s involvement, Tom Williams, Commercial Manager said, ‘We are very lucky to have Pitshanger Lane just down the road from our new home, Trailfinders Sports Club. The high street is up for the British High Street of the Year competition and there is a true sense of community with the high street as the centre.’

‘Our whole aim in the local area is to start to put down roots, build relationships and support the community in whatever way we can. The Light up the Lane event is a natural progression to our involvement with the Ealing Half Marathon, which resulted in a lot of interest in tickets for our games in Ealing next year. I am sure that this event will have the same success for us.’

Light up the Lane is taking place on the 29th November from 4pm – 7pm and is organised by the Pitshanger Community Association. To find out more about the event please visit https://www.pitshang...ht-up-the-lane. If you are able to come down make sure to come and see the London Broncos in the sponsors tent.
