Surprised no ones mentioned this but we are the first thing you see coming down the steps off the train from Leeds - great bit of advertising and the mural itself is looking smart with more to do.

Thanks Buford. Having suggested the idea for signage at the railway station to the club it is pleasing to see the finished mural and signs. However this was done mainly by PPG. I did take a photo around the time of your posting Buford, but have just got round to posting it myself.

 

       BBC ONE News at lunchtime (national news) had a report on Thursday's local MP election and featured the railway station showing the aforementioned mural. As well as the companies on there etc. they said it is also the home of Batley Bulldogs! 

    

       Hopefully the report will be shown again on BBC News at 6 and let more people know we exist! Great advertising indeed and good to see us 'on the map.' Every cloud does have a silver lining!
