Is Ellis in it for the long term? I mean, he's obviously only just taken on the role of messiah and the lord god in one as far as Wakefield fans are concerned, why hasn't he been involved previously if he's that much of a fan and that rich ( apologies if he has tried to and I've missed it). If Wakefield don't get back into SL at the first attempt, is he likely to stick around and build the club up or is he just wanting the glory of a few wins and big crowds? Again, apologies I've missed anything as I don't follow the ins and outs of Wakefield too closely. But it seems that the timing was right for this guy to appear and be the saviour but is he just another Koukash/Green/Khan etc?

Top scorer in the NCEL Premier despite missing a few through injury

It doesn't matter no, I was just asking a question, no need to get defensive.
-
To be fair, it certainly helps when there's thousands of Wakefield fans now turning out to watch a winning team, something they've not been able to do for a long time
-
It seems most RL clubs are not bothering to give out attendance figures now, very strange.
-
Never mind the attendance, how much were the ticket yields worth and how much % did they make on hot dogs? They're just as important
-
Reserved seating is a pain, as not everyone is the same, some people like to plonk themselves down anywhere and just watch the game, some people want to be near the front for a closer view, others prefer the back, some people like to stand up and sing etc, but reserved seating means that people of all tastes are forced to sit together. It's why the atmosphere at most football grounds and some rugby grounds now is so poor.

My team, Emley, will be presented with the Northern Counties East League Premier Division title on Saturday when they host the "Huddersfield derby" against Golcar United, it's one thing winning the league with games to spare, it's even better when the trophy presentation is against the local rivals

Not criticising at all, it's a good crowd, just wondered how so many places were sold, but unused that's all.
-
There was loads of empty spaces in the Wigan end as well.
-
Lots of empty spaces even upto the 65 minute mark, how come?

I was always under the impression that "attendance", there's a clue in the name, was the actual amount of people who went through the turnstiles, rather than the amount of people who paid for a full price ticket? Maybe this is where Hull KR are going? I'm not sure, but I do find it strange that since IMG announced the grading points that they have taken this measure, that's fine, it's up to them how they do their business, but it just seems odd that they have decided now that attendance figures aren't important. I agree with others that think normalising this isn't strange, it is, IMO. It's like Hull KR have gone " ooh look at us, we're going to use business like clever wording to get around publicising our attendance figures, aren't we big and clever" On another note, I find the whole notion of including season ticket and free tickets distributed who don't attend as part of the attendance as weird too!
