  1. Cini looks a real running threat but he got mugged by Cotric there. Catalans capitalise with Pangai Junior crashing over.
  2. Well part of that prediction has already come true. Absolutely siling down in Cas.
  3. Spot on. It's absolutely bonkers but you get to a point where you realise you're banging your head on a wall and it's best to walk away.
  4. Completely agree on this point and it's always bugged me. Allocated seating has been used for international games at the stadium in the past and is the way to maximise the numbers who can attend. It would mean hundreds more seats being available around the stadium. I don't see the need to stick to the same split of reserved/unreserved that we have at league games.
  5. The RFL were involved in the discussions around ticket allocation at the MKM. There won't be any further repercussions from them.
  6. I think there's a case to be made for bringing block E3 into use but there was never any chance of Rovers being allocated anything from E4 onwards and we know that the West Stand Upper is sadly no longer an option. IMO, what we've ended up with is a reasonable compromise and the whole of one stand and a fair slice of another is a sizeable chunk of the stadium. Your suggestion that it's somehow an evil plan to reduced the number of Rovers supporters in the ground strikes me as the sort of daft paranoia I'd expect to read somewhere else.
  7. The email I received from Hull FC earlier this evening states quite clearly that in addition to the entire North Stand, blocks E0, E1 and E2 of the East Stand have been allocated to Hull KR. Is that what you meant by "the rest of the East Stand"? Doesn't seem unreasonable to me but then I'm not a fan of segregation. I think it causes more problems than it solves.
  8. He's done it again. Left you with a tap-in.
  9. The phrase "Over my dead body" springs to mind.
  10. Remarkable that we've avoided each other for thirty nine years.
  11. Don't think it will do any harm. Might even generate more interest. I think Rovers sold out their allocation some time ago in any case.
  12. I was, mate. I know one thing, if I watch again later it's going to be very low definition. Can't quite believe what I've just seen. Feels like I'm going to wake up tomorrow to find there's been a steward's inquiry.
  13. Really pleased with the way Hull clawed their way back into it but two errors late in the half, one at the Wigan end and one at ours, have killed us and settled the outcome. Technically, the coverage is absolutely awful. I'm watching on red button HD and it's nowhere HD standard but that's just the first of a long list of complaints.
  14. Very happy as well as being pleasantly surprised with Hull's start to the season but I think a task of this magnitude is beyond us at this stage. On the plus side, it's a stronger Hull side than the one that played Wigan at the MKM so it should be more of a contest.
  15. Not great is it? Seems to be some uncertainty around whether the crew of the container ship are all accounted for. I really hope everybody is brought ashore safely. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cgq1pwjlqq2t
  16. Sorry I'm even later than Michael McIlorum to this one mate but I can confirm the Donny tale. Had the pleasure of playing in the same side as Tony Banham for a while. What a player he was. One of the proverbial could have been anything he wanted to be type players but he was just in it for the sheer enjoyment, didn't want to take it that seriously. Played against George Robbie too. You wouldn't believe how strong he was for his build. Had a handoff like a ramrod.
  17. Plenty of errors and some poor defending but great entertainment nonetheless.
  18. There was a case to be made but the freeze frame and slow motion images just aren't of the quality required.
  19. Big bloke on the charge to the line, what a great sight. Least said the better about the Warrington defence though.
  20. Looked forward from one angle but OK from the others. No issue with that being awarded for me.
  21. I actually like the unpredictably and jeopardy the short drop-out brings to the game but there's a right time.
