The telling stat for Keighley is that they've only conceded an average of 8.5 points per game. Incidentally I wasn't criticizing the time keeper but the ref who appeared to suffer from St. Vitus' dance the way his arms kept going up and down - one of our more 'interesting' officials is Mr. Mannifield (the name given on the RFL website).

Nailbiter in the end down by the seaside in Colwyn Bay (could Muzza make the players write out one thousand times 'when comfortably ahead with a few minutes to go I must not put the cue in the rack'!), although Rochdale were helped by what I made out to be over eight minutes added on time. Never mind, what's done is done and we still ended up with two points. Keighley away next week and on today's performance - HELP!!!

Hey-ho, can't be helped, with rugby of one form or other being played on it for 12 months of the year the pitch would need work. Do we know definitely that we can't get Zipworld for the rest of the season?

The Transfer Rumour Mill Thread

It's going to be interesting to see what the promotees from L1 do. From what I've seen I reckon Keighley (who are effectively up already) only need a couple of big forwards to give a bit of extra heft in the pack. The second club will be a bit different - I think that as far as the Crusaders are concerned we'd pretty well need to completely rebuild the side to have a chance of staying up and I reckon the other contenders are in much the same state. -
That's an interesting thought - Muzza and his crew could well turn London round given a free hand which would probably run straight into a brick wall called David Hughes' ego. The other problem is that they'd have to go full time and whether they'd be prepared to give up the day jobs in these uncertain times has to be doubtful.
