  1. I do have that attitude. Those who are criticising 10.1k don't.
  2. Unfortunately in that 40 years, they've also been better with that 13 on the field Surely 2025 is the year? Isn't it?
  3. Imo Warrington should be doing much better in marketing at the moment. But we don't need to go over the top with our claims. The crowds are decent, if not a touch disappointing that they aren't hitting some of the peaks of the last 20 years.
  4. I must admit I don't really see much point in comparing the leagues, and an international match up certainly isn't to decipher which league comp is best. I just don't think it matters, we want all co.ps to be strong and the best they can, but the NRL isn't really a competitor with with SL in terms of fans. I'm not making a choice between watching Wire or Souths.
  5. Is this true? I'd be stunned if people in Warrington didn't know they had a pro RL team, even if that's just based on the location of the stadium. I think the bigger issue is engaging with fans rather than any kind of lack of awareness.
  6. I suppose we could say the question is why is 10.1k for an all-pay cup games that is live on BBC not seen as a good crowd? Over 10k is a good crowd in RL terms. I had a look back on one of my early years in the late 80s when the Cup still had more glamour, and Wire hosted Saints at Wilderspool with 5.9k on in a BBC televised match.
  7. Nonsense. There is nothing to support the claim that there should be 15k there today.
  8. I couldn't find the wink emoji
  9. I'd hope this one will be attractive to both sets of fans, with no real travel required (10 mins or so on the train). I'd hope for 12 to 15k. Only spanner in the works is Magic is the weekend before.
  10. Yep, I thought he was superb for a spell when he came back on. Maybe we should rest him after 3 minutes every match.
  11. I like the guy, but I'm just not seeing much at all at the moment. He works hard, he always does, but some of his distribution is lacking and he just doesn't appear to run with the ball any more. I do think that's tactical rather than his choice though.
  12. Where has that been mentioned? Assume Saints or Widnes.
  13. As a Wire fan I do think Walker is going backwards. Hopefully he can regain some form, but he's some way off at the moment imo.
  14. 10.1k at Wire. Looked and sounded decent enough tbf.
  15. Nope. I was interested in you showing a comparable situation. A deep fullback will usually be the favourite in that situation. Ashton blew the first one absolutely by not passing.
  16. Sorry, I thought this was a sensible conversation. Happy to leave it.
  17. Could you show us an example of him skinning Welsby like that?
  18. You rarely see a fullback skinned in those positions. The only real way you do is if you have support which pust doubt in the FB's mind.
  19. Good play by Welsby, he plays deep to cover these. The difference in pace isn't enough to skin a fullback in that position.
