What was illegal about Asiata’s tackle? There was plenty that was illegal about Lees’s tackle. Whose narrative doesn’t that suit?

Asiata’s was a legal tackle. Lees’s tackle was off the ball and it blew Wright’s ankle to smithereens. Why isn’t Wellens commenting on that decision by the disciplinary?

Of course it broke his ankle. Unless Wright faked it.

It was off the ball. It was an attack to the head. It broke his ankle. It was illegal. He wasn't sent off and only got a two game ban. Why doesn't Wellens comment on that?

I wish a speedy recovery to both players. But let's also remember that Shane Wright's season was ended many weeks ago following a horror off the ball 'tackle' by Lees.

I thought that Matt Newsum was pretty good yesterday, and Mark Wilson is very good. It is the co-commentators who are the problem. Continual chatter, usually about something that is not happening on the pitch. And the cameras doing close ups of the coaches whilst the game is in motion does my head in. I like Matt Peet. I think he’s a decent bloke. But I don't want a close up of him when there is action on the pitch.
