Great breakdown, as per usual, Brooksy. A little concerned about how much tackling Ridyard put in, this department should be lfet to the forwards. Hamilton on his post match review with OCR said Ridyard had hurt his back - no wonder. I'm sure Littler will sort it out for next time.

Flawless first half. I don't think we conceded a penalty and went in 38 - 6 in front. The second half was a real mixture due to players being taken off and a rush of penalties to London. Nevertheless, winning what's in front of you by 62 - 18 is pleasing enough. The Yeds #### half was brilliant scoring four tries, his last was pure magic well worth the full entrance fee us OAPs now have to pay i.e. no concessions. No game next weekend and then North Wales away - could be a tricky one but if they played like they did in the first half today there shouldn't be a problem.

Why do we persevere with this dual reg c***p season after season. It never benefits us and just gives match time to the other club. I would only accept it if they loaned out their players for a season like they do in football. The whole idea just disrupts any cohesion the team puts together in training. Just interested could the loan club take their players back on the eve, or even on the day of a match?

I hope it's just the forum and not the Yeds.

Three days to go to what could be the most important season the club faces and it being the first game of the season and there have only been NINE comments. Four of them are mine and one from an Hairnet's fan!

Considering how few games we have and the strong possibility that no team will really dominate the season, it could come down to points difference. With this in mind, just winning isn't an option we have to score as many points as we can starting with this Sunday.

Just seen the draw for the next round. I just hope Dewsbury and the Hairnets have a real battle, with players sent off and others put on report. But I hope the Hairnets win.

It would be great if we both went up. I wonder what the bookies odds would be on that one. Can but dream - i'd be happy if one of us gets up. I feel Dewsbury, Doncaster and Hunslet will spoil the party.

My concern is the number of games being played this season i.e. 16. If they lose a couple then the heat is really on. We have to win ALL of our eight home games and hopefully beat one off the stronger teams. I'm not counting the Hairnets in that category - it should be an easy four pointer!

Looking forward to the first real game of the season. Let's hope we get back last week's missing players and better the Hairnets 46 - 6 against them. Is this the last game in Whittle's suspension?

50nil to Doncaster. Could it be Littler has also realised that this game is a game to get out of the way to avoid injuries to his small squad. I won't be going and I hope the fans who do go prove me wrong.

I can't disagree with Clifford but the important thing is we still have a club. We just need the Qataris to see the great opportunity there is in taking over our great club.

I agree but you have to be realistic. I feel we have little chance of beating Doncaster, so just get the game over and avoid any injuries, like I said before, in the prop department.

We've shouting out for weeks for the need for some props, but it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. Being realistic who would be available now? The only option we have is players on loan but again so early on in the season I can't see teams releasing anybody. Like Shrewsbury said lets treat the up as another pre-season warm up and keep away from injuries, especially in the props!

Great win by Saddleworth 30 - 19. Saw a first in sport. The players came out for the second half and Edinburgh kicked off, then about 3 minutes later the referee came out of the toilets to start the game - it was three tackles old.

Can't disagree with you but any game must benefit the side i.e. match fitness and putting plans into practice. Who knows they might even loan us a decent scrum half for the season.
