  1. The day's arrived after a sleepless night dreaming about the "what if." Let's all hope for a decent, fair referee and accept the score and then book OUR Wembley trip!
  2. No chance if this season has anything to go by.
  3. The resume by OV is nothing less than brilliant. OV has been very diplomatic throughout the piece by not mentioning the impact the referees have had on our losses. Talking to some speccies after the Toulouse game they were all saying the same thing, " when are we going to have a referee who looks both ways!"
  4. Why is it some people are in the know? Nice to hear some genuine names coming next season.
  5. Has anyone else heard that Lomax from St Helens could be coming our way?
  6. A week to go and we'll know if we are Wembley bound! I see Featherstone thrashed Widnes today and let's hope they feel a little overconfident about next week. And who knows the plastic pitch could have some repercussions. We can only hope we have JT and Lawton back and who knows if anyone else can come in to fill the gaps all over the place. Depending on the bloke in the middle, I'll take Oldham to win by 12.
  7. Thoughts on the score. Oldham by 6.

    New signing?

    Any young ones?
  9. Nowt to beat but the ref!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't it about time we had the rub of the green. I can't remember a game this season when I could say the ref saw both sides equally.
  10. A little bit confused RR, what do you mean?
  11. Lets hope we have our strongest team out to prepare for the semi-final. Come on the Yeds!!!!!!!
  12. From leading 30 - 12 it finished 30 - 26. Some daft penalties led to two tries and a massive mistake from the ref gave them their last try. BUT a win is a win.
  13. Can I apologise for the comments I have made. I made my mail as soon as I came back from the game as you can imagine very upset the way the game had gone and with hindsight I would never have made the comments I made. Yes I was at the 84 - 0 game and yes I will be going to Wembley and YES i won't be making any more rash mails.
  14. I've been watching Oldham for 65 years and have never walked out of a game. But today after 25 minutes I couldn't take any more - they were an embarrassment to the shirt. I brought 4 newbees who sadly won't be coming back. I know we are down to the bones but the 25 minutes I watched they were clueless. The bubble has definitely burst and big time.
  15. For tonight's game I'd play DC at hooker. He has the skills to open up sides and has the ability to keep the players around him moving. Something missing since we lost Wildie. Sadly, I can't see us beating Bradford but who knows we might get a referee who knows the game!
  16. You can park at the ground - cost £6.
  17. Should be yet another great game and hopefully a full house. The team looked tired towards the end of the Widnes game and I'm sure the longer break will have done them good. The big question now who has Sean got who will beat the Bulls. The lad from Wigan showed up really well and would be an asset in a game like this. Also hoping Forber can come in at hooker, that's no offense to Aldridge but we need a bigger presence in the middle something lacking against both Featherstone and Widnes. Oldham by 12.
  18. It's showed in the last two games how we are missing Wildie.
  19. When are we going to get a fair referee? This guy was clueless. Enough said. Well done the yeds and another great following.
  20. Heard that Wildie is out for 8 - 10 weeks! Heard he is having an operation today on his elbow. Massive loss.
  21. That's a fantastic piece of work. Let's add another loss to Featherstone after this weekend! Thanks again.
  22. The interesting aside to this game is the draw for the semi-finals, with both us and Featherstone in the draw, being made BEFORE the game. Hope they bring a few so creating a great atmosphere with the possibility of opening up another stand. Should be a cracker!
  23. What a fantastic gesture. We are so lucky we have Bill Quinn.
  24. I see Gallagher went off injured in the Rochdale game. How bad i don't know.
  25. Did we get any more injuries? I saw Thornley in a little discomfort, looked like a groin problem or he was just adjusting his jock strap!
