I wasn't a fan of Wood. He used to sit in the stand and all he did was criticise and swear. Our play was always negative even in the perceived good first season. The difference under Murray has been huge. I actually am looking forward to a match again. Its been so dull for too long.

I dont think we played badly against Rochdale but same as last season we cannot score Our threequarters are weak and lack strike power Im not sure Wood has any offensive idea whatsoever Today against Ince helped to strengthen that opinion

Definitely need some strike power adding in the three quarters and cover at half back

Fair assessment from a swinton fan Else is a great player I was gutted Allan Coleman constantly left him out and he eventually left Our second row Gav Rodden ran you ragged . He's a class above.

I feel disconnected too,even though I run the family page and I'm involved in pridebuilder. Can't really explain it. There are some reasons which would be wrong to share on a forum but the thrill and excitement has gone most weeks. We've consistently struggled to score tries and lack any real fire power. Some strong recruitment is required to reignite the match day experience.

My player of the season. Every move starts with him

We played really well on Sunday as we did against Midlands It begs the question as to why we were so awful at Dewsbury Every week Jack Stevens performances beg the question as to why he was ommited so often in early season especially away at Workington when we picked Finn Rogers to debut instead. Sargent played like he had a point to prove and he did. We dont use our three quarters enough and we still dont score enough points but the last couple of matches the commitment has been there and I'm happy with that. Most of our ex players were lacking commitment and that was evident on Sunday North Wales were disappointing and belligerent.

We had no tactics. Scoring has been a big problem all season. So has leadership on the pitch. We are all over the show every game. Dewsbury deserved the win. We were awful.

The timings for the announcement re Hatton were all wrong and it makes you wonder if Wales did it to cause some resentment. Who knows? Regardless we have a quality player for a few games and Im sure he will give his all. Shame he got injured yesterday however we seemed incapable of passing to our three quarters on either side.

Why do we have to start off so badly? Wood just sits in the stand swearing. Its hard to listen to him. The second half was amazing. We really gave it some effort and all those players who left us showed why we shouldn't be bothered that they did as North Wales did a Swinton 2024 style surrender. Ellis Anderson can be really elusive. Rodden flew it in all afternoon. Great to see 2 proper half backs releasing our three quarters in the second half. North Wales constant chatter was embarrassing and certainly influenced the young ref who had a decent game but he should have nipped Dallimores interference in the bud.

It was good to see George back to some of his best form. He gives 100% and obviously is a confidence player. Browny came on with a point to prove and certainly proved it. If he's left out next week it would be a travesty. Anderson and Sargent looked dangerous with the ball but both flanks are woefully inexperienced and were exposed defensively. Maybe the second rowers aren't covering well enough? We should look to spread it out to the three quarters in attack as we have finally got bags of pace across the field which is something we have lacked in a long time. We certainly have an exciting young team who will no doubt entertain and frustrate in equal measure. I guess we will need some patience to allow them to develop and flourish. As for the forwards Shingler and Beardsworth look the real deal as exciting prospects. From the established players Rodden is clearly a class above whilst I'd rather see one of our many youngsters play over Cox. Kenny Baker came on and played well too.

Entertaining second half First half we were awful

It's a bit worrying that things seemed to have ground to a halt after the launch night which was a success in my opinion and well attended. I think we are several players short of a full squad especially given the age of some of the lads in it We don't have a new chairman announced which was promised within a few days of Stuart Fletcher stepping down We have no website We have no friendlies announced We have no DR announced I'm sure " lots will have been going on behind the scenes as usual and we need to keep the faith"
