  1. USARL need to get their act together, or reform. Regionalised comps with national finals is the way forward for USA. keep fighting the fight
  2. I kept close tabs on USARL in 2024, it seemed to be on the up, maybe 20 or so teams playing across 4 divisions. Can you shed any light on who is playing this year? The pacific coast seems to have folded, Utah is stand alone now, the southern conference is going, but I've not seen much from the northern conference?
  3. Will be back on the ground by July with a new pitch. Stadium won't be completed until next year
  4. Support Newcastle Thunder!
  5. Look at what South Wales Jets are doing. Building from the bottom up, they would stand a good chance of making it work and they've recently stated they'd be interested in the future. Any club admitted should have a junior section and already established.
  6. Please stop. Who would want to watch England pump two other teams? Couple thousand maybe. Would it make money? No. Is it a goer, no
  7. It's surprising the amount of people that don't realize that Goole were already called Goole Vikings, and had been established since 2018.
  8. Gooles population is 22,000 with approx 45,000 within a 7 mile radius! I get your logic, but if a place doesn't have a rugby league demographic, it's a hard sell.
  9. Pre 2018, there hadn't been a rugby league team in Goole since the 1930's Huge interest in the town however, hence why a club was started in the first place. The amateur side regularly pull in 200/300 crowds, with a lowest of around 120
  10. Does this suggest it's restricted to donating to European teams only though? Will it be classed as a charity of some sort?
  11. Yeah that's a fair comment. If a team has been around for 5 years, to me, they've done the leg work and our money would be better spent elsewhere. Those first 5 years are the hardest to establish a team, get through them and longevity looks good. Adding a youth and junior, section is always worth investing in. Id rather see developing countries focusing on this to be honest. Norway are taking this approach to a degree.
  12. I'm in. Choosing the correct clubs/countries to invest the money in is key however. Start up clubs is surely the target?
