Coventry Bears are proud to announce a new sponsorship partnership with Scorpion Sportswear

Scorpion based in Tile Hill in Coventry are currently making waves in the Rugby world with their great range of sportswear and it was an easy fit for the Bears to team up with a local supplier.

Bears Alan Robinson commented:

‘I have been working with Scorpion for the past few months and have been very impressed with there professionalism and attention to detail. Their customer service is second to none which was very important for me. Having a supplier on your doorstep also means that we are able to provide a good service to fans and players.’

Scorpion will run an online shop for the club while also having Bears merchandise available in a new store currently in development in Tile Hill.

Scorpion Managing Director Marc Lord is looking forward to the relationship with the Bears;

We have been following the progress of the Bears and being already involved with many local Rugby clubs the Bears were a great fit for our business. They can give our brand the extra reach we are seeking in the professional arena of Rugby League playing in League One next season. I am really looking forward to working with the Bears and also taking in some top Rugby League action in the process.’

Hoops are a winner!

Last year saw the Bears adopt a classic hoop design and in 2015 will continue to build on the Bears brand and colors of cyan and navy in this style. The away shirt will be red and black giving a strong contrast and introducing the red synonymous to that of Warwickshire.

The hooped shirt has recently become a fans favorite after it was discovered that the very first Rugby League team (Northern Union) to play for Coventry in 1911 wore the classic traditional hoops also worn by Coventry Rugby Union.
