Richard Horne wants his side to take their chances when they come along against London Skolars this weekend.

The Dons are looking for their fifth win in a row in Betfred League One, and Horne says they must keep improving each week.

He said: “We’re in some good form at the moment and we’ve found the momentum that we’ve been looking for all year.

“We were ruthless in the first half against Coventry, we changed a few things in the second which halted the momentum slightly.

“When you come up against the better teams then you have to take your chances, so that’s something we’re looking to improve on.”

The Dons beat Sunday’s opponents 42-18 earlier this season, and the head coach knows that they will provide a good test at the Keepmoat Stadium.

He added: “It’s huge for us to cement our position in the top five, we’re still in a position where a defeat would see us drop out so it’s vital that we keep pushing on.

“I think it will be different to the Coventry game, they’re very athletic and have some boys who can play so we can’t gift them field position.

“If we can limit them to as little good ball as possible and play with a quick pace then I think we will come away with a good result.”

It’s about boosting the PD by as much as possible. Hopefully PD won’t come into it but if it does it needs to be as good as it can be.
