Listen Live update

Due to limited media capacity at Emerald Headingley Stadium, Listen Live will unfortunately be unable to broadcast Wigan Warriors’ return to Betfred Super League action against Wakefield Trinity on Sunday afternoon.

Listen Live, introduced for the 2020 season to bring fans free live commentary of all Wigan Warriors first team matches during the 2020 season, will hope to return as soon as possible in line with Super League policy regarding limited club media accreditation at neutral venues as the competition makes a welcome return.

Wigan Warriors Listen Live Commentator, Joe Mills, said: “Myself and my co-commentator Bilko are obviously disappointed that we can’t be in place calling our long-awaited return to action on Sunday.

“Both of us love interacting with you, our fans and listeners – many of whom have followed the game on Wish FM in previous years and now on the Wigan Warriors Listen Live platform.

“Logistically, we are well aware that it is a difficult balance to strike for the competition organisers and we appreciate that it’s a tough decision to limit attendance as we return to neutral venues in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis. We’re both looking forward to getting back behind the mic as soon as possible.”

Warriors Season Ticket Holders can watch the game live via the RFL’s OurLeague streaming service. Access codes will be emailed to the address linked to each customer’s client code on Thursday in order to grant them access to the streaming platform.

In addition, the game – like all Betfred Super League fixtures in August – will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Furthermore, Wigan fans can follow every piece of the action via our social media channels and website. Live updates and information will be provided across our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook platforms – both before, during and after the match.

Supporters will be able to follow the game live on our website via our Twitter updates, and there will also be post-match reaction with a match report and the thoughts of Head Coach Adrian Lam and selected players.

Matches will also continue to be available – as usual – on Wigan TV, with highlights, extended highlights and full match replays available after the relevant holdback times. There will also be post-match interviews available to watch.
