A couple of items in today's R.L. Express which I found of interest. The first one was, unfortunately, a bit of bad press but to be expected in mine and a lot of other peoples opinions, if the poor attendance figure for the Crusaders match was any guide. It was a letter on the letters page complaining about the normal match entrance fees being charged for the game from a Crusaders fan who was asking" what world do some people live in" and also suggesting they should "get real".
The other piece which was maybe of interest to Knights supporters was in the match report on Doncaster's good win against Keighley. Ex Knight Brett Waller was named as the "gamestar" accompanied by the comment "Brett Waller will have impressed the home faithful on his Keepmoat debut with a dominant display in defence and attack which included a number of breaks which split open the Cougar's defence."
It will no doubt be interesting when he comes back to York with the Dons along with his mate Lee Waterman, who, I think I am correct in saying, ended up as the Don's top points scorer last season. Two lads there with a point to prove no doubt! That's without mentioning Dennis Tuffour, Mark Castle, Chris Spurr and Brooke Broughton!
