Another triumph for South Yorkshire Police.

 

Whoever made the decision to involve the BBC in the raid on his house should be dismissed.

And when they found our shadows

Grouped around the TV sets

They ran down every lead

They repeated every test

They checked out all the data on their lists

And then the alien anthropologists

Admitted they were still perplexed

But on eliminating every other reason

For our sad demise

They logged the only explanation left

Agreed.  Cliff has complained that he has not been "exonerated" but just that the CPS say there's insufficient evidence. If there's no actual proof, does that automatically mean the accusation was malicious?  What else could they say? Presumably someone complained, perhaps prompted by the Jimmy Savile hoo ha and the police had to respond, IMO they responded wrongly. 

Savile always said "if I go I'll take a lot with me"  who knows what he actually knew about all these scandals that have emerged since his death?
