I went there on the off chance, when I was on holiday in Penzance. Best day out IMHO. Gorgeous beach, Tate Gallery, nice pubs, some quiet resteraunts, and nearly missed the last bus back because of chatting. (Although if I had missed the last bus, taxis are cheaper than where I lived - Uxbridge)

I don't normally drink on a friday (last week was an exception these days), however due to me & the other half working for a cash-strapped NHS trust, all the Band 6's in Theatre, and Day Surgery (so me and her and 150 others) are having to reapply for their jobs again. Those failing will be re-banded to a 5, with subsequent wage loss. So the GF has gone to London, to a specialist Afro-Caribbean hair stylist to have her hair done for her interview on Monday, leaving me with our 3yo daughter, and a raging thirst. Still, it's the weekend now, so I don't care anymore. Coca-Cola for me.....bleuerch, it's room temperature.

It was the Hastings half-marathon today. Some reckon it's one of the toughest because the first 6 miles are uphill. I don't know who won because I am working.

Our IT installed a wireless system about 18months ago, and now they are banning people from using their personal devices on the system. Isn't that what it was installed for? Or are the NHS planning on giving out laptops to everyone?

Because they know they are hastening their own death by being addicted to something that is easy(ish) to overcome with help. Cue arguments from the nicotine addicts on here, that are totally pointless.

I'm thinking post-production fixes actually. The Auto-focus wsn't functioning due to low light, Paley has pointed me in the direction oc that one, but I would like to present a more focused print of the picture to the guys because they were pioneers in what tree of them still do for a living within the Trust I work for, and all are fast approaching retirement, and they hadn't seen the 4th bloke for 5 or so years (2nd from right) & they have no idea when they will see each other again, as the bloke lives in Cornwall
