But, as the saying goes; nothing ventured, nothing gained. The F-factor could not be any less my cup of tea, but that being said the people responsible for putting it together deserve a massive congratulations for what is a truly ambitious event for the club to host. The acts topping this bill are household names all across the UK and if this event doesn't pull some people in then it looks like nothing will.

As I've already said; I couldn't have been better placed to see it and Stu's try was correctly awarded. The ball was only ever grounded on the line and it looks like, as Stuart56 points out, from the highlights on youtube, the would-be tackler appears to drop off him so the tackle was never complete in the 1st place. I'm pretty sure every1 knew we were goin to get a tough match with Batley hitting a rich vein of form at the mo and fighting for that play off spot and that's exactly what we got, but i thought that KH's comments on radio leeds smacked of sour grapes and we just about deserved the win as Batley threw everything bar the kitchen sink at us and were essentially playing "cup final" rugby whereas we had a bit more control.

Where i was stood i probably had 1 of the best views possible of it and Stu kept the ball carrying arm up then grounded it on the line. Thought we had at least a 50% share of the crowd too

I actually think it would be beneficial to thee game as a whole if the NR Cup was expanded to include the top tier amateur clubs and spread out over more of the season. This way clubs from places like Nottingham could experience rugby league at a higher grade than what they currently are. I reckon this could do more for expansion than sticking a club out in the outer hebrides or what ever's the next RFL flavour of the month,

Maybe if you stood with the vichy fans they could "talk you thru" how the RFL is doing a good job

I second that, some people have been shocked when I expressed that opinion. With all the Bullcak and hype it receives I'm sick of hearing about it before a ball's even kicked. Having said that I put an England flag on my car today ... tho i did deface it to say "will be home Thursday"

I said summat along the same lines before we went to the wire match; I'd rather watch us at the top of this league, winning regularly, than watchin us gettin beat more often than not in super league. I pretty much got laughed at.
