  1. Saints already know what they have to do - win by a shedload - regardless of when Wire play.
  2. Someone tell Eddie that even if Crusaders won today they wouldn't have been guaranteed a play-off spot. Especially as Cas could get back to 8th tomorrow with a win over Quins.
  3. Since the game didn't kick off until 2:30 it didn't really matter though.
  4. They're rubbish anyway. Couple of chip shops round the corner and a Tesco over the road where you'll get better food.
  5. 10:32 from Wakefield Westgate, change at Sheffield, arrive at Warrington Central 12:58. 11:46 from Wakefield Kirkgate, change at Sheffield, arrive at Warrington Central 13:58 http://www.transportdirect.info/Web2/Journ...px?cacheparam=1
  6. One Challenge Cup final, one Challenge Cup semi final, one play-off semi-final and one play-off quarter final after a 3rd placed league finish. All in the space of five years. Not many teams with a better record. They won't be. Widnes in without doubt. Toulouse I suspect would only be in if we were expanding to 16 clubs. At the moment I can't see them being brought in, but this may be with the caveat that they are guaranteed a place in 2015. Wakefield I think will be the team booted out.
  7. You're right that the SL title is more important than the Cup but that's true in all sports. However, I'd say it's still important and after waiting years to win a trophy last year's final was an absolute highlight. Maybe it's time to abandon the seeded draw which only seems to happen in the 3rd round.
  8. So they're not going with the obvious solution of bringing the whole round of games forward then?
  9. A series of friendlies? Strange, I was under the impression that there was a trophy and medals being handed out at the end of the season for "the best team".
  10. Probably. Which would leave Huddersfield v Salford! Not got a problem with going back to Cardiff, but holding it in February seems a bit daft bearing in mind the weather. And as has been said elsewhere, not being a bank holiday will see a lot more people leaving well before the end (start?) of the last game (or two) on the Sunday. And I've never been happy with having "derbies" rather than a random set of fixtures - seems a bit contrived.
  11. Quins v Wire can't be played on Saturday because of the Union double header at Twickenham.
