  1. This is worrying, particularly as it's the entire coaching staff upping sticks and going. Some clarification from the club would be nice.
  2. We've looked a bit edgy recently, got the bye next week to reorganise. Be nice to know where/when the Swinton game's being played - it's a steam weekend at Blist Hill Victorian Town so I'd like to know what day's RL and which steam.
  3. I'd forgotten about that - so whatever the result I can claim that I was right
  4. I'll say HKR by 4, but with HKR's treatment room resembling a WW1 dressing station at the height of the battle of the Somme could go either way.
  5. Batley tonight, then Bradford, York, Halifax, Leigh, Newcastle, Sheffield, Widnes (Fev out of sorts lately).
  6. Skolars Cru, Donny, Midlands, Keighley. Wonder if Keighley could go unbeaten all season.
  7. Getting a bit puzzled by this thread as I thought that (a) It was about Keighley, not Wakefield (although things seem to be going nicely there as well). (b) The £2.5 million was a grant to help with the final cost of the new stand, not to pay for it in its entirety. Must be old age, I suppose.
  8. Looks like a decent win for the Cru, a bit closer than some of us thought it would be - looks like Tommy Johnson left his kicking boots at home as he only landed two. Interesting round in a way with Rochdale falling to pieces (pity, they could have done us a favour by beating Swinton) and Joe Mbu now looking as if he's getting the Skolars up and running.
  9. So, the Bradford Metropolitan District's going to have a successful club with forward looking ownership and a modern ground - who'd a' thunk it!
  10. I'll say Cats by 12, but Leeds have blown hot and cold this season so we'll see.
  11. Yes, a good gate, with a decent turnout from Hunslet as usual. Anyone know the attendances for the Skolars and Doncaster games as I couldn't find them anywhere. I wasn't at the Doncaster game but Skolars was a bit sparse.
  12. Yes, it wasn't a bad game - a neutral speccy just there for their weekly fix would have gone home reckoning they'd had their money's worth. Bit of a muddle in the first half with two Hunslet tries from interceptions. The Cru settled down after half time but as you say, left it late with Hunslet going home wondering how they managed to throw the game away with the suspicion that it was because GOD IS WELSH! and not from Yorkshire as they'd always believed. Oldham and Cornwall away next followed by the bye and then three biggies to finish - Rochdale (h), Keighley (a) and Swinton (h).
  13. The reading I get from this is that Nigel is more the CFO type than CEO.
