Where does the blame lie though? Hodgson who is still dealing with someone else's team? Or whoever has been making recruitment for the last few years, or player development -

Potentially, this could be the new "worst game ever" I almost wish it was on TV for comedy value. -
Harry Newman at the RFL Disciplinary appeal hearing..
Ant replied to Old Frightful's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Making players attend a refs course is an option the RFL should start following and making them ref amateur games. Also, Leeds need to just get used to the fact that bottom teams just don't get the easy breaks top teams do, either on field or at the disciplinary. -
Wells is awful, I think he'd struggle to say a compliment about us if he had a gun to his head. As for "The Giants are dull", this is another rubbish line from the abysmal Sky team. Methodical, ruthless and efficient. Until a shift is on, then it's pressed home. Look at Gerrys tries, or Leroy's 3rd, or Leuteli's and tell me they are dull? Sky, like a lot of others think the Giants are still the same team of the early 00s

Fwiw, big a fan as I am of Cudjoe, I'd not pick him for England With game time, I'd expect to see Wardle cement his spot, he just can't get game time at the Giants because the incumbent centres aren't dropping form
-
I think he's a luxury few teams can afford. Saints are good enough to cover for his short comings and to exploit his strengths

Worst value for money half backs in 2022?
Ant replied to Old Frightful's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
Nope, but while we have automatic P&R, coaches will go for reliable if uninspiring or inexperienced every day. -
Konnie looks great carrying a ball. Just don't ask him to turn and chase, or defend generally. Or keep hold of the ball with great regularity
-
Cudjoe had a terrible time with injuries, effectively missing a couple of seasons on recent years - that break seems to have given him a new lease of life. He may lack his pace, but his skill is as good as ever - and he is keeping an England centre out of the team

I am, but I'd say it applies in any cases like this.

Forgive me, if I've heard it all before with many other players. It may well be, but until its reality, its all just hack journos hot air.
