We need a mixture of up and coming Chanpionship players and some experienced players. We also need quality, as without that, we might struggle to stay up, and it’s likely to mean a losing season with reduced crowds. Plus, winning the Championship in its own right is important.

Jack Bussey has been a great servant for us, but given his recent injury record, it seems sensible that the club wouldn’t be offering a big contract.

The favourites double looks good to me, although I won’t be betting against Fev.

On the last few performances I can’t see us getting close to the Bulls. However, there is a glimmer of hope, as they can throw in the odd shocker as well. Either way, there’s almost zero chance of beating Trin, if we do win, but at least we’d make some addition cash.

In his latest interview after the York match, Ford was again incredibly positive about next year and beyond. So hopefully things look better for next year. Certainly the players we have been linked with, young up and coming Championship players, has to be the way to go, as opposed to over the hill SL players.

Yeah, it’s going to be great, when we get battered next week at Odsal. The only positive, hopefully a decent crowd and some money.

If we can’t win today, can’t see us progressing much further in the playoffs.

Dec Patton hasn’t been the greatest since he returned from his ban, but he was very good before. I’d be tempted to have him on the bench, as he does have the talent to be game changer.

If we pull off a performance like at Widnes, Bradford and against Toulouse we can win, if we play like we have done recently we will be well beaten.

Thought that Ford sounded a bit more positive in his latest interview. A bit more encouraging.

I think that Widnes will beat Barrow, if they need to win. For me, we need to win both matches, and on current form, I’d give us minimal chance of winning at York.

Doesn’t Ford pick the team?. Unless the club get a new coach, I can’t see many fans renewing season tickets etc. His only hope is by someone how getting a win against York, otherwise failure to reach the playoffs, should mean that he doesn’t get a new contract.
