  1. It might be outdated and missing the point . Trouble is it works .
  2. Global Warming . Best Ski season for a good number of years . No customers .
  3. Headed to Cayton Bay Sunday( 6am) . Dropped wife at Filey . She wanted to run along the cliff to Cayton (5mile ish . ) I ( and dog) covered over 3 miles along Cayton fantastic Beach waiting for wife . Had breakfast in van then spent 2+ hours in the surf on kayak , dog and wife covered another 3ish miles . 1st time this year in the surf had muscle burn plus face was as red as a beetroot , not sure how as sea mist was along the coast until mid afternoon . Tide was now dropping dog still looked like it wanted another blast so grabbed the litter picker and cover 2+miles filling the bag with plastic from the high water mark . £3 to park , toilets , surf shop , controlled access to parking area . Few people on beach near the get down but loads of room . Great place to blow the cobwebs away , get the heart pumping , burn the fat .....
  4. Great sound . Strong words . America seems to have many areas set aside for nature (and people) things can always be better , how you make them better with population growth i've no idea . UK looked into how the national parks / wilderness areas are operated in America to see if any ideas could be transferred over here . In some areas you can use offroad bikes/cars etc bit of a free for all . Areas that allow access in 4x4 s on man made track . Nothing was used over here as our areas of national parks are not large enough to allow these sorts of activities to take place .
  5. that would be a Labour council , just saying
  6. Beautiful early morning walk around the Holderness Countryside . Fields dry , still water in the deeper ponds, dykes . Dog got a little warm by the end . 7.5miles

  8. We usually take the boadyboards and kayak onto little fistal . If swell is good spend the day on beach . If conditions aren't great we head over to the bay side . Only the cost of parking . Hopefully heading down August . Great place to watch the sea/weather . Good short video on ytube about a group of Australians /South Africans paddling out to the big wave that can develop off the head when conditions are working . Long before neoprene wetsuits .
  9. Mighty and the moon . You can play( down load) all of their music for free .
  10. Couple of times a week when I take my dog for a walk we do a spot of litter picking on a small pebble/mud,sand beach . We like the big pay items like plastic bottles , balloons etc as we can see a difference until the next high tides . Look along the high water mark and it's a disgusting mess of plastic wrappers , plastic bottle tops etc etc . Came across this little fella last week , hard to understand how stuff like this is swilling around our waterways .
